The first step to go to any place is to gather proper information about that place. This trek is not a common trek like other treks. To complete this trek, you will have to walk some 130 kilometers but after walking this much, when Mount Everest stands in front of you with open arms, you will forget all your fatigue.

Mount Everest located in Nepal is one of the highest mountains in the whole world. Almost everyone dreams of hiking Everest trekking here but climbing is not so easy. Its height is 8849 meters. But it is said that before going to any place, understand the picture of that place very well. Often people go out for a walk without knowing the place, due to which they have to face a lot of problems later on.

How much will it cost?

If you are planning to climb Mount Everest, then be ready to lose your pocket. You will find many such travel companies which offer packages to take you here. You may have to spend Rs 50 thousand to Rs 1 lakh for this. At the same time, if you want to go for trekking for the first time then go with a travel company only. Let us tell you here that apart from the package, you may have to spend money also. Like- fees for getting a permit from Kathmandu or plane fare from Kathmandu to Lukla.

Do packing like this

Before going to the base camp, do all the packing in advance, so that you do not forget anything at the last moment. It would be best to carry 2 bags on the Everest Base Camp trek. One small bag which will remain with you during the trek and the other will be your rucksack which the porter will carry to the top. In these bags you can include sun protection cream, buff, protein chocolate, water bottle, raincoat, jacket, T-shirt, trekking pants, gloves, and hat. Keep in mind that the weight of these bags should not exceed 10 kg.

What route to take?

Although there are 2-3 routes to complete this trek, but since it is a trek at a good altitude, it would be better to take the most direct route. If you have already gone on a similar trek, then you can choose any route as per your choice. If you go through the direct route, you will probably get more beauty of nature compared to other routes.
